Route naar Sas van Gent
From Rotterdam the shortest and fastest route via Liefkenshoek TOLLtunnel:
- From Rotterdam you take the A16 in the direction of Dordrecht.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Klaverpolder. You go off the A16 and on to the A17 in the direction of Roosendaal, Antwerp, A59, haven, Bergen op Zoom.
- Change motorway at traffic junction De Stok. You go off the A17 and on to the A58 in the direction of Roosendaal, Antwerp, A59, haven, Bergen op Zoom.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Zoomland. You go off the A58 and on to the A4 in the direction of Antwerp, Bergen op Zoom, Vlissingen.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Zandvliet (11). You go off the A4 and on to the A12 in the direction of Antwerp.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Antwerpen-Haven. You go off the A12 and on to the A4 in the direction of Ghent, brugge.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Antwerpen-Haven. You go off the A58 and on to the A4 in the direction of Antwerp, Bergen op Zoom, Vlissingen.
- Now you go through the Liefkenshoek TOLLtunnel. You can pay the TOLL with cash or credit card.
- Change motorway at traffic junction Beveren. You go off the R2 and on to the A11/E34 in the direction of Zelzate/Brugge.
- At Zelzate you have to go through the Canal tunnel. After the tunnel you take the junction to Zelzate.
- Go strait ahead at the first traffic lights, turn left at the second traffic light, in the direction of Sas van Gent.
- You enter Sas van Gent after a few kilometres.
From Rotterdam, Breda and Antwerp via the "free" Kennedytunnel
- From Rotterdam you take the A16 in the direction of Dordrecht.
- Continue the A16 until Antwerp.
- In Antwerp you have to follow the signs to Ghent, until the Kennedytunnel.
- Go through the the Kennedytunnel, remain in the tunnel on the right traffic lane.
- After the Kennedytunnel you have to change motorway at at the second junction in direction of Rotterdam (it seems strange, but just do it).
- Follow the A11/E34 in the direction of Zelzate.
- At Zelzate you have to go through the Canal tunnel. After the tunnel you take the junction to Zelzate.
- Go strait ahead at the first traffic lights, turn left at the second traffic light, in the direction of Sas van Gent.
- You enter Sas van Gent after a few kilometres.
From direction Brussels/Ghent:
- Follow the signs to Zelzate.
- In Zelzate you go strait ahead in the direction of Terneuzen.
- In the Netherlands you have to turn left at the first traffic lights in the direction of Sas van Gent.
- Go strait ahead (drive over the canal bridge) into Sas van Gent.
From direction Hulst:
- Follow the signs to Axel/Sas van Gent.
- Go strait ahead on the roundabout and the garden centre.
- Continue to go strait ahead until the traffic lights.
- Turn left at the traffic lights.
- Turn right at the next traffic light in direction of Sas van Gent.
- Go strait ahead (drive over the canal bridge) into Sas van Gent.
From direction Cadzand/Oostburg:
- Follow the signs to middelburg (TOL).
- Go strait ahead at the traffic light beyond camp-site the Braakman.
- Go strait ahead at the roundabout in direction of Terneuzen.
- Turn left at the next traffic lights in direction of Sas van Gent.
- Turn right at the next roundabout, drive under the bridge of follow the canal until you reach Sas van Gent.
From the other parts of Zeeland via Westerscheldetunnel:
- Follow the signs Terneuzen (TOL).
- You reach the N62 and the Westerscheldetunnel.
- You have to pay Tol at the Westerscheldetunnel. PAY ATTENTION! You only can pay with cash or you credit card.
- After the Westerscheldetunnel you keep strait ahead until the roundabout.
- At the roundabout you turn left.
- Turn left at the next traffic lights in direction of Sas van Gent.
- Turn right at the next roundabout, drive under the bridge of follow the canal until you reach Sas van Gent.
